Welcome to Political Diagram
Political Diagram was created by school student Karl Smithson. The reason why I decided to create this was because politics in our world is changing.
We are seeing the globe move away from a linear political spectrum of right-wing vs left-wing and authoritarian vs libertarian. Instead, what we are experiencing now is a more abstract form of politics where one can be a nationalist without being a populist or a libertarian without being pro-free market.
I wanted to create a radar diagram which shows politics on a much more detailed level and put an end to generalisations. The 8 axis’ are detailed enough to show someone’s political views on the most divisive issues but are also readable to those who know less about politics.
Different people hold many different political views and we believe that it is best to show that in a more intriguing manner.
